Left Keystone this morning, the lady suggested that we take a look at Sioux Falls SD, as we were going that way, so we did. Along the way to Sioux Falls, we stopped of an looked at this Statue called Dignaty of Earth and Sky.
Stopped off at the Indian motorcycle factory, sadly no tours available till Friday, when we fly home. .
Well having done the Indian factory yesterday, we thought why not do the Harley factory today So we did. This is a sad story More pics If you're in the area, this museum is well with going to have a look around. That's it from me, nothing more to report, as we're flying home this Friday.
Looks like we need to put the Broken Spoke on our list, too, @Bikerman! You have gotten fantastic photos! Maybe we'll try to get to the rally when it's in full swing again one of these years. The last few years (including this one) we've been in the Sturgis area several days before the rally officially starts to keep costs down and roads more open. But I'd LOVE to see the rally in full swing again like we did our first year!
My Minnesota nephew, the one that bought my 2020 Street Glide, went to college in Sioux Falls at Augusta University. Great photos! Last year we stopped at Dignity of Earth and Sky. So beautiful and so impressive. Love, love, love your photos, @Bikerman!
We went there last year, too, @Bikerman! What a beautiful place with a great showroom. But as with you, the tour was unavailable when we were there. The woman "in charge" told us that they were at work on something very top secret and weren't letting people into the work areas.
Steve and I went to the Harley Museum back in 2019, @Bikerman, and loved it. We're talking about going again, this time with Russell who has yet to see it. Sheesh, how many miles did you drive on this trip? All the places you reported on are not exactly around the corner from each other! Thanks for a fantastic thread and for taking time to snap photos and post them for us. It's great to see your photos... you got a lot that I never do since I'm riding. And riding with a group to boot. I'm about to start my ride report thread that includes a bit of Sturgis but more of the rest of the West. Your Sturgis pics put mine to shame. But I will try to throw in a few good stories and a bit of history, too.
We did 4734 miles. Loved your comment about my pictures puts yours to shame, I think your ride reports definitely put mine to shame
I think Yes, Sturgis isn't cheap, along with the US in general now, compared to a few years ago, but coming from England, you really can't penny pinch, as I think I'd kick myself for not diving into it full throttle so to speak. South Dakota for anyone who's not been there, you really MUST put it on your bucket list, it's just stunning.

I remember you saying it was going to be a big trip, but that was a B-I-G trip! I'd love to see a maps of all the places you went. Sadly, I get an error message when I try to open your attachments in this post. Can you try again with a different method? I'm very curious and eager to see more of your photos.
Done it on my smartphone, sadly the smartphone doesn't take into account the dummy using it. Now on my laptop, so hopefully you'll see these.
Sunliner Dinner Never in my life, have I ever had a Banana Split at midnight. It went down a treat. Go Sandi, the atmosphere was electric
Love the pics of Dollywood! Steve and I haven't been there but Russell spent time there a few years back. What a cool place!
