Peeps just got back from Pewsey Lincolnshire. Had a weekend camp with the MZ Owners. Not a big club but a friendly lot of people. They made me very welcome and i intend to return again. Wil try to get pictures later.
Hey Joe I wouldn't of guessed that there would be enough riders to admit to owning a MZ never mind having an owners club no disrespect to any rider but I should imagine that they would make you welcome as a prospective member I'm sure they haven't many people knocking down their door if you joined up the membership numbers would go up 33%
I mean, l don't like to carp @joe mc donald but how's about some pics? I like a bit of tent envy stirring up...
@Mark TGR9 No it was a nice weekend and a fair few bikes. Some of them are quite nice and well kept. There was no pressure to join. The three of us who attended put in a fiver each that was going to the air ambulance so a good cause. They do have a bigger camp later in Wales which is widely attended. But i am in Ireland.
@MightyBoosh I know i should have but i didn't take any. I am trying to find someone who can send me some. And i know i always harp on about pictures but can only say sorry if no one comes back to me.
My brother moved over to Ireland in April and as I did loves it over there are you going touring or attending a rifraf rally
@Mark TGR9 Mostly touring and visiting family. They don't seem to getting a lot of the hot weather at least around the North Antrim coast.
I have noticed that with the weather we live closer to Ireland being on the north Wales coast compared to Cardiff which always seems to be quoted on the weather on the news for Wales but we very rarely have the same weather than Ireland the same being Liverpool and Manchester we are closer to there so we can rarely rely on the forecast to plan rideouts have to take a n average of all surrounding areas to make plans but slightly off topic there i lived in southern Ireland in co.cavan and was planning retiring over there as my other interest is fishing which is great there and mainly free but after my Mrs father passed away she just couldn't settle down there but I'm looking forward to going back over to visit my brother in Kilkenny
@Mark TGR9 You are very right about the fishing. Living by the coast i was hardly ever home. But Mum knew where i would be. And everyone would know and tell Her exactly where i was. I do love the South as well.
