    Hi all!

So, I'm a few kms before my first 1k km service and will raise these there, but would like your experience as well, perhaps these are normal? Not sure, first big bike!

The first one is that there is a howling sound (like wind going through) from the rear tire. It starts at about 30-40Km/h, stays the same no matter the speed from there on, and it's there even with the engine completely off. Not sure if it's just tire road noise (Michellin road classic), chain noise, or something else...

The second one is a clicking sound (like 2 metallic objects hitting each other) whenever I go over a bump. Not sure where it comes from, it sounds like beneath the tank, other times from steering, can't be sure. I've checked most of the visible cables, etc. all seem tight enough. Not sure if it is from the front fork.

Anyone have any experience of something similar?

    Thanks a lot!

@MrZammler Welcome to the family. Do point it out to the dealer and don't be fobbed of. Hard to pinpoint anything. Help if we had some pictures of the area's. hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and send them.

If you have a smartphone and mount, record video of the issues. Take that video and show it to the service rep. It seems these odd sounds won't show up the minute you take it to the dealer for service. Having a video has saved me.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. Sorry if they sound dumb, literally not sure yet how the bike is supposed to sound :)

I'll do the video record to capture the sound, good idea. As for photos, basically nothing to show, complete stock!

In general the bike feels very well built and put together, I'm sure they'll figure it out but wanted to check beforehand.

    Thanks!
