Featured Bike Night East Kirkby

Just got back from this bike night, and it was absolutely backed. Brilliant bikes and atmosphere too.

 

Nice to see the mosquito back together - it was in bits when we visited last June

 

We were there as well. They had the odd one or two bikes there

 

Yes, wasn't many there was there

 

Apparently there were 2940 bikes there last night. So £5.00 per bike
= £14,700. Not bad for a night's work.

 

Good to see the lanc as well

 

My son and I did the ‘Taxy Ride’ experience day in the Lancaster last 6th June - absolutely fantastic. They do a similar day for the Mosquito which is next on my bucket list. Still waiting to try and get a backseat in a Spitfire but since the crash last May, that very sadly killed Squadron Leader Mark Long, they’re not as readily available.

 

The mosquito taxi run is very expensive. But what the heck, it's memories that counts.
