Hello, Just joined the forum and just bought (last week) an 05 Daytona 955i. Been out for a couple of rides to give it a bit of a shakedown and noticed a flat spot around 5k, it has an after-market can/exhaust, so thinking it might be that. I know it was a common fault with the earlier models, but wanted to check if anyone else has had a similar problem with a gen 2? Thank you, Johnny
It could well be. Use tuneecu to see if the map is correct for the can. Better to post issues in relevant section
@jonny Perrotta Yes welcome to the family. And as @sprintdave mentions the right tune for the bike helps. Plus just check all you inlet rubbers and exhaust sealing and air filters. All could cause problems.
