At 30 mile -ish the '07 was beginning to let the arse know, so I had the seat recovered by a mate to look like a '69/'70 ... which , apart from improving the overall look, with the piece of padding (or whatever it is .. only looks an inch or so thick) that is placed over the usual padding under the cover, made an unbelievable difference ? I'll ask when I see him next .... which would have been yesterday, but ....... ..... a little hint, do not let a 1200 Bonnie run out of fuel and deal to yer back when pushing for an hour or two !!!!! @Fartomany I know i have done a fifty-nine mile push many years ago. As i won't leave my bike along the side of the road. Also pushed one with a front blowout about six seven miles and it was like one hundred.
