The fuel computer tells me I only have 8 litre capacity where the manual states 12 litres. I filled up the other day with 2km range left and it took 7.5 litres.
I'm guessing the only way to confirm would be to drain your tank then fill and see what fits in there
I do that but it’s annoying when the bike does not come as advertised. The dealership is not any help. It was the worst experience I have ever had buying a bike.
See this post No.18919 I made when I still had my 2022 Street Scrambler. The handbook for mine also said 12Ltr capacity so I doubt the tank capacity/range has changed on the later bikes. https://www.thetriumphforum.com/thr...h-your-triumph-today.219/page-946#post-616568
@Eric27 If you have had a bad experience with a dealer do name and shame them on here. May help other bikers in the future.
Could it be possible that the operating software is not calibrated correctly? Eight litres is pitifully small, surely you'd see the difference in the tank size. We're talking half as big again here....
...l would add that my 865 SE has something like 3 litres less than the specs say because the spec applies to the original carburated T100 models. Mine has the fuel pump in the tank which takes up one corner. Not the case here though l don't think
My 1200 Scrambler has a 16Ltr capacity according to the handbook with the fuel light coming on with 3.5L left. Last time out, I did around 10 miles with the fuel light on and filled the tank with 12.96L so that's as near as damn it 16L.
