@stollydriver My opinion is no its not worth it. You know your bike and how it is serviced so should not need the type of work they claim to cover. But i bet something does go wrong they will not cover that part. If you go ahead with it make sure they give you a break down of exactly what they cover.

 

Personally I don’t think it is worth the money, that’s £480 a year so whatever went wrong would have to hugely exceed that to make any financial sense. If you want to spend that sort of money pm then stick it in a fix my bike account and save it for a rainy day

 

I agree with Helmut Visor's post.

Open a separate bank account, stick the £40 per month into that account (you'll also get a bit of annual interest) watch the amount grow and it's there when / if it's needed.
