had a trip to Brighton today. Boy was it windy. Still got my Harry Ramsden. But not as good as they used to be.
Today i had a nice day out around the Bicester area did about eighty miles and it was good. Not cold at all and reasonably clear roads. Just got home and had a nice cup of tea to round the day of.
Thank you, Joe. I feel completely better (in that I'm no longer ill) and have gone from my lowest weight (7st7lb) to within a stone of my previous normal weight (I'm now 10st7lb). I suspect I'm actually at my best weight, in fact, given that I'm not tall, so I'm reasonably happy to stick where I am. Living life without a colon (without even a ; ) can be a challenge, but I'm learning more and more how to manage that. Not quite at the full acceptance stage as yet, but I'll get there. Oh, and one good thing is that the leg/foot problem arising from the operation has fully recovered itself, so no automatic Hondas for me!!!
Tony, I'm SOOO glad to read that you're no longer ill, are at a great weight, and that your leg and foot problem has resolved itself. Whew...no automatic Honda for you. That's a blessing. "Living life without a colon (without even a ; )" Love that. The semi-colon joke, that is. NOT that you're living life without a colon........
LOLZ! Yes, I hoped/thought/knew you meant that, @Sandi T ! Thank you, and I hope all's well over there!
No doubt you're destined for many fun rides ahead. It's a substantial machine despite the lower horses. I rode 250cc and 650cc for many years without ever missing appointments. Enjoy the ride!
I just bought one as well, two months old 217 miles. I feckin love it. Traded a complete piece of shite BMW G310R for it. What a huge Improvement. Pity the poor sod who buys the Beemer.
@Patchinko Should have said as i am going to sell my blue 400. Still under 1000 mile and never failed me. But got the calling again. Got all the crash protection and top box
Currently the live fuel consumption will not read above 60mpg, but the average is in the 80's so obviously I am getting better 60. Any ideas?
That's what they do - it doesn't read above 60mpg while riding, but you'll get the average readout ok.
@Sandi T Sorry maybe i lied. I have always had the calling. These days i am scared to go any where there is a motorcycle with a for sale sign on it as i know what will happen.
