In the rear. Ive only done 400 miles, it started wallowing so i pulled over but it was only half gone so i got another 2 miles out of it. I had to concede about 2 miles from home. No sign of a nail yet, and rac could only find a leak around the valve. Im goin back to rv with recovery loŕry soon . Alright, puncture.

Howdy, it's tubed I think so it could be a bust tube spilling out there , or a fault. I'll have to take it to the local dude tomorrow, he'll test the tube and look for shrapnel but theres no sign of ingress(good word) 20160722_173535.jpg

Tubeless is no good due to the spoke holes i assume. Mebby i'm the 1st on a breakdown truck, oh what glee. At least Triumph assist worked.

It is a shame neither the Trumpet or BMW retro offerings come with either tubeless specific spoke rims (as per some adventure bikes) or some method of sealing the spoke holes as per KTM adventure bikes.
There must be some aftermarket sealing options as per the cycle industry....'spose if no one else knows I had better do some googling

    Hi Wag
Told Nikki that you had a punture at Ply Triumph yesterday thinking you were gonna be the first on an R with a punture, apparently not they have already had someone else. Be interesting what your tyre report reveals!.
Also you mentioned Triumph assist, did that come with the bike or was it extra?

The Thruxton does have tubeless tyres, so guess yours could be an incorrectly fitted/bad valve
