@Sandi T: Many thanks to you Sandi! I don't consider myself a special husband. For me, that's quite normal when you love your wife.
My Christmas present arrived today; bespoke leathers. They fit really well, but I'll have to get some proper photos when I am not home alone....I am pulling a terrible face on this one that looks like I don't like them at all so I removed my head!!. I had a one piece that I bought secondhand, but there was so much loose material around the waist to get the shoulders to fit, plus I have long legs and a short torso....that is being sold on to offset the cost of this one.....
I received my one and only additional extra for my Rocket. A windscreen from PUIG. It's dark but still transparent. It will reach down to the headlights and will be mounted on the original screw positions on the front. This is much closer then the very small original Triumph windscreen and was only one third of the price!
What a great Christmas gift and wonderful leathers, @Mrs Visor. Please send us a photo at some point with you in your leathers on one (or both!) of your bikes!
You are able to look through it. But I just bought ist to reduce the amount of wind to my body. I won't look through it, because I am to tall.
Hahaha! That was supposed to go to @Mrs Visor, @Markus! It was meant to mean that it would be tough for her to see where she was going with no head on her body.
This is it my last bike i think. But now @triumph900 tells me there could be a problem with the bike. Probably why i got such a good deal.
Some new mirrors to replace the monstrosities that are on the other purchase I have made once I have thawed out from riding it back from Bristol.....
A decent "garden" pump sprayer for bike cleaner after faffing about with cheapo plastic garbage that leaks and falls to bits in cold weather.
Your "last bike", Joe?! I suspect not. In fact, I'd bet the farm not! Even if there were some issues with that particular year, it doesn't mean that it's problematic for all the bikes. I'd leave it to your dealer to get that figured out and squared away.
Beautiful, @Mrs Visor! I'd have gone with those for my H-D Low Rider ST if they made them for my bike. But alas, nope. But I did get these.......
My new Oberon adjustable clutch and brake levers for my 2023 Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST. And I bought them directly from Oberon in the UK. David there was great and even had the blue anodization adapted for the color of my bike. I got them in about four days, to boot! I'm so excited to get these on my bike. My aging hands will be v-e-r-y happy. I've had these levers on two previous bikes--my 2021 Fat Boy and my 2020 Street Glide Special. I put Flo levers on my Low Rider ST first but they didn't work right. My lesson--go with what you know! These are a bit more "subdued" than those of @Mrs Visor.
Oooh, I really like this. Please let us know how well it works when it's warm enough to use it, @Pegscraper!
