Hi, My 2024 Triumph Street Triple R has a Bluetooth module, I have purchased a Cardo pack talk pro to use for comms, music and to hear the my triumph’s Sat nav directions. I have an iPhone 15 Pro. The advice I would like is what is the best way to connect my Cardo, should I just connect the Cardo to my phone which is already connected to my Triumph, or should I connect the Cardo to my triumph and my phone ? Any help would be appreciated.
As you say your comms and phone are already paired. So the verbal directions from either Google Maps or Waze will be heard without the need to go anywhere near the Triumph nav. Of the two I prefer Waze as it is more informative.
My phone is only paired to the bike and comms only paired to my phone. If I pair my comms to my bike as well in which order do I do it ? Will I loose the “hey Cardo” voice commands or any other functions?
You are already good to go. Use either Google Maps or Waze on your phone and you should hear the directions come through the comms. You shouldn’t loose the “hey Cardo” voice commands. I do find that very occasionally the radio turns itself on and I have to “hey Cardo” it.
Thanks for the advice but I don’t have a phone mount so rely on the bike screen to see the directions.
Ok. Thanks for all the advice so far. So if I did not want to buy a phone holder and I did actually want to use the triumph navigation. What is the best way to pair my devices and do I loose any functionality of the Cardo by pairing it to my bike ?
I have heard they're very good from people that have them fitted. I read a great review of them in Ride magazine too.
