Guys please be aware that there may be a scammer amongst us.ive been private messaged by a member Trabon2020,regarding a wanted post I put on looking for triumph luggage. Surprisingly his friend who's also a member spoke to him saying he had what I was looking for.he gave me the Guys email and said to contact him.I did and immediately got email back with pics ,so I done a wee Internet search on my new super phone and lo and behold there they are on us ebay,,I asked the seller where he was as I was in UK,,oh I'm in Plymouth he says I can send them FedEx. Even better I said I'm 30mins away why don't I come round for them . So guys,I think Trabon2020 is in fact [email protected]. So cmon Trabon 2020 come prove me wrong. Edit, he's posted 6 words on 5 posts ,all on 13th August, then nothing,,hmmmm
Fully aware, but he told me it was Plymouth uk,sent pic stolen from Ebay usa, but thanks for the geography lesson.
@Pedro1340 Yes nearly got caught out by that one on Facebook I was searching for CB500 Bits when out of the blue got contacted by someone who could supply me everything i wanted like new. My Tracy looked and said the parts he offered were dealer parts. She contacted the seller and said we would come and pick up and pay cash we never heard any more from him. I know its not bikes but it is happening more and more these days
Hi Joe,as soon as I called this guy out,he bolted from the forum here,,he claimed to be in Plymouth (UK),,previous to that he was answering me within minutes. After I reported him to the mods here ,I think he was banned, but since there was no confirmation of that, honest members here could still have been at risk and targeted.
@Pedro1340 You are quite right. They are out there and i think its a job to them. I have just used a company called Onebuy for some goods that never arrived and now they don't even answer my mails. I have turned it over to my bank to chase and get my cash back
