Or is it just me? Within two days of having taken delivery of my Speedmaster in 2020, and after several times catching my pant leg on the kickstand extension, I cut it short, rounded, sanded and polished the end . It's a separate piece and is removable, but then the kickstand disappears under the belly of the beast, and you can't get to it. I left enough to easily catch what's left of the extension with the heel of my boot and accessing it has not been an issue. It was just too long. Anyone else found the extension to be a problem?
Yes happens to me too. I also have a 2020 speedmaster. I'm in Pennsylvania. As the weather is getting colder I often wear chaps to keep my legs warmer. Many times the bottom flap will catch on the kickstand strut. How did you cut the extension? Hacksaw? Also attaching 2 photos of the reflective pinstriping I added to my speedmaster
Didn't see this till today. Yes, just hacksawed it off. It's aluminum. Very easy cut. Just rough sandpaper to round off the sharp edges, then finer sandpaper to polish it.
