Picking up the new bike on Wednesday 2nd October, having the lower crash bars fitted only, heard too many stories about the upper ones being useless. Going to ditch the triumph handguards for a set of barkbusters, tipped over my speed triple in the garage and the standard handguards wouldn't have been any use had it been the Tiger.Any other recommendations?
Hey @Pedro1340 , I just picked up my Tiger 900 GT Pro a couple of weeks ago too and am thinking the same thing with the handguards. Theres an option that looks pretty decent which makes use of the existing handguard bodies but wraps an aluminium bar around them. So same thing in effect as the Barkbusters, but you only have to buy the aluminium part. Link here - https://evotech-performance.com/products/ep-hand-guard-protectors-triumph-tiger-900-gt-pro-2024
I have the sw motech upper bars on mine and they seem overly engineered and stand Quite a way off the bike so I think they would offer decent protection I've also got the same make of belly pan on as well and it looks like it's armoured plate off a tank
