I am from Pennsylvania. I have owned Triumphs before as of right now I don`t. I am interested in getting a Speed 400 but it is too high for me. I will continue to look into a solution but as of now I have no idea how to correct my problem.
I am an older man and have been riding Motorcycles for 58 years. I have had different kinds but my Triumph have always been my favorites.
I am looking forward to spending time on this forum talking with others who have the same interests as I do.

Hi welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right and show the inmates your bike when you get it. Have you tried the 675 and some of the Bonneville range. But most models can be lowered. Joe

Welcome! If you can't find a Triumph that fits you, it might be heresy, but you might want to look at Royal Enfield. They have a lot of new bikes with a lower seat height, and 350-650cc engines. They are also a bargain! While waiting for a minor repair on my Trophy 1200, I looked at one that was $5700 new. Classic styling for most. Good luck with the search!

You know, I have been shopping around but my heart is with the Speed 400. You are right though some of the Royal Enfields are nice and the price is good also. I think I have found a solution for the Triumph, EMC makes mono-shocks that will lower the bike to just over 29 inches. What I am concerned about is, what about the warranty? It would be a shot in the dark also because I would have to buy the bike and then get the shock and put it on. If something goes wrong it is an expensive mistake.
