Be needing new front brake pads soon for my Speed Triple 1050 RS. Original Brembo way too expensive so looking to use EBC HH pads but there seems to be a supply issue and have already cancelled one order as they are out of stock until May/June.

Never used them before so recommendations are always welcome. Thanks.

Hi Triple X, personally I would go with the Brembo pads, yes they are more expensive, however given the money paid for the 1050rs cutting costs with what is essentially the most important factor on the machine is important, HH pads are more abrasive and can and do have a negative impact on disc life, although there are different compounds of material. Have a look at the website for UK Race Support, these people know their stuff inside out and are helpful, they offer a wide range of pads including the OEM Brembo pads. Hope this helps and ride safe from an ageing Rocker.

I don't normally cut corners and usually go for the best available. It's just that I am under the impression that aftermarket suppliers, such as EBC, are just as good for less money. I'll do some more research and check out the website for UK Race Support as suggested. Thanks for your input Iceman.
