It doesn't need a camera to work. If you look close there's a ring of LED's which are strobed to give the effect of motion.
I knew a guy that was so disliked by his family that when he passed, they didn't even want to give him a decent burial. So, they cremated him. I thought it was kinda' rude, but he urned it.
And that's the dangerous part about rotating machinery i.e. lathes. Lights at a certain frequency creates the static appearing strobe light effect.
