"Locke", a psychological drama with only one actor, Tom Hardy with the voices of others during telephone conversations and set entirely in a car during a journey home or ?. No big budget/exotic locations here but a great watch nonetheless.
Aporia... Interesting. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=5469...MjMvMDgvMDkvYXBvcmlhLW1vdmllLXJldmlldy8&ntb=1
Crazy on the Outside. A harmless but entertaining little flick from Buzz Lightyear 2010. It popped up and I gave it a watch. Better than most of the crud that's being released these days.
"Terminal" Will probably watch it again{s} https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=0556...1dHViZS5jb20vd2F0Y2g_dj1QMUxVX000cUw5dw&ntb=1
We've gotten on a "Let's watch all the Quentin Tarantino movies again" kick. It started off with Pulp Fiction on New Year's Eve and then Inglourious Basterds. Next up is probably The Hateful 8. Any of you Tarantino fans have a fave??
Just binge watched the Salad Fingers episodes again. First saw them back in the late 2000's and find them quite relaxing.
We went to see this last night and certainly felt enlightened/amazed by it (like Oppenheimer last year) as it’s more an education than entertainment. Winton was an incredible man and his belief to get this Herculean deed done (with the input of so many like minded people) is as remarkable as the matter that it’s taken 35 years since the story came to light for it to become a film. To hear that for every child a £50 (equivalent to what was then roughly 3 or 4 months pay) security was required to be paid in advance to the government by the fostering parents was shocking. That the vast majority came from public donations and all in a matter of weeks/months was remarkable. I came away with a reinforced sense that society today needs to take a step back. These were the golden generation and whilst everything is now more advanced (health, welfare, education, etc) than it was, we are all to a lesser or greater degree morally poorer than we were.
Ferrari. Loved it apart from the CGI car crashes…! Brilliant film IMO. The reviews on some of the sites have not been great but I really got into it and could see the story evolve in difficult times for the family. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3758542/
Sounds like a good film for two reasons then, @stollydriver. It's a super kick bum film. And Jason Statham's bum is in it!
'mangine that... I'm an Alien. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=cb2c...XNlYXNvbi0zLXByZW1pZXJlL2FyLUJCMWlHeFVw&ntb=1
We're watching all of The Hangover movies (again, for Steve). Just finished #2 this evening. Holy shite, those boys can get in some trouble!
