    Hi All,

Can't decide if to leave the standard mickey mouse mirrors on or go for some bar end mirrors. The triumph ones are a tad expensive however, the Tec ones seem reasonably priced. Just on the fence at the moment if to go for them or not

Are those the originals on it at the moment?
The triumph ones are great quality. I swapped mine as they had discoloured. they look so much nicer now.
These are the ones I bought prob not best for yours.

I put some OEM peep mirrors on my T120. They provide (IMO) a far better view than the stock Mickey Mouse mirrors - I can see more than just my arms now!

Bought them from a Triumph main dealer on eBay, half price and great service: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174204871124

Don't want to hijack the thread but I have a related question pls. Does the fact that I have Triumph heated grips in anyway interfere with or restrict bar mounted mirrors?

I can only speak for Triumph bar ends, but no, you shouldn't have any issue. My bar end mirrors have a 2-3mm clearance between my heated grips and the mirror bracket.

No - I have both on mine, albeit OEM and fitted by the dealer prior to delivery.

Welcome to the family. I have the bar end mirrors on my 660 and find them great. I have tried others but find them inferior and cheap looking.

You can go OE or aftermarket, or even mix ‘n match. When I bought these they were less than half the price they are today. But I thought it was worth the gamble for a tenner. I didn’t need the expanding plug as there is already a female, M6 I think, thread available to you once the bar ends are removed.

I wasn’t keen on the mirrors that came with them so I swapped them for the OE ones on the stalks I had just removed.

End result, I'm well pleased, as Mr Millyard would say. They are rock steady at all speeds and aesthetically pleasing.

    Gentlemen,
I am seriously considering bar end mirrors; the mickey mouse stock ones only provide an excellent view of my shoulders. I am considering these bar end mirrors suggested by Eldon above:
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202811697458?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=1110006&algo=HOMESPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=259357&meid=5ff62e4dd02b43f2a9d5948d97fe9999&pid=101195&rk=5&rkt=12&sd=275694849300&itm=202811697458&pmt=1&noa=0&pg=4429486&algv=SimplAMLv11WebTrimmedV3MskuWithLambda85KnnRecallV1V2V4ItemNrtInQueryAndCassiniVisualRankerAndBertRecallWithVMEV3CPCAutoWithCassiniEmbRecall&_trksid=p4429486.c101195.m1851&amdata=cksum:2028116974585ff62e4dd02b43f2a9d5948d97fe9999|enc:AQAIAAABYHD%2FO%2BVoFoPPIoZ2g0kOZxWd85mWuIHekSp3qag7zFfwObZeQoitzE%2FDCfcejfO%2BzOLmzZmy11RrgWpA56KM9DpasK%2BGtGYwCFvgaK6ijP5AqShEUhT8f2oX6hvndJ3G0oWH8DD1DlBWseQltpxcSDW2Uu52NrseaxeINpsrDP6vx7ny%2BkPKauMa3yeSanWiipz1y701wRXK%2BTTYslV0jWXezCiTgdxaGmVP1GgHL2KMDmkuWL8BSju7w6se%2B5XnFPpi7Ha%2B7YQHjF5bZvrQZu5IQ6qmNNECThj%2FfqXHA--EgKdtcpaknJKQfHuisEcOKrySMgB5SZ9CPntyAfrcF8UJFroHD%2FO1h5jXF2sF%2FwqrhqMcpW3SqSzesEFV%2BRnDFURAStzRmi9t77YhSAfEaBIsBsYpOmGfH%2FOlRphSXGcgnyxNx3LTP1Mk%2F9SeILY5odKuF9GIEghhHNHxS034zoU%3D|ampid:pL_CLK|clp:4429486&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5337842392&toolid=10001&customid=29692X1547495X69c9f9ec1e1df8b1e927fba9038d72ae

But, I am thin on how they would be installed. See my pics of the my handlebar end: the stock end cap is 1 1/4 OD, the handlebar is 1 OD, the stock handlebar insert is 15/16OD. So, I take it that the insert would have to be removed first? How would that be done?

Lastly, I have a 2023 Bonneville T120; has anyone installed the above mirrors?

I must be in a minority here as I find the OEM mirrors work pretty well although I think the Street Scrambler may have slightly wider bars than others in the Bonneville range. A big negative for me with bar enders is they make the bars even wider and hence traffic filtering more awkward. Having said that I have just fitted one to my pushbike and it's a life saver!

Personally I'd go onto the configurator, identify the correct OEM part number, and then seek out the best price online. At least you know they'll be properly compatible.

Wow, thanks gentlemen for all the advice!!
struv, thanks for the part number.
RevPaul, many thanks for your attention and comments.
I have gone with struv's and RevPauls suggestion and went on Ebay and bought the last new set a9638194.
I like their shape and maybe get a better view behind me.
Will let the forum know if they work out.

For me they are for looks only. 1, they tend to vibrate more, 2, my bl**dy elbow will block the view and 3, they will bang into car and van mirrors when filtering.

Well folks I got the oval mirrors pictured by struv above from the bay offered by banjoholic for $200 US incl shipping. This seller is an excellent seller - mirrors arrived after about 14 days (UK to US); packaged excellent in a shipping box, plastic bag, and gobs of bubble wrap; original unopened untouched by human hands Triumph box.

These mirrors are top notch quality, heavy metal, flawless mat black paint, high gloss glass - typical Triumph quality. The mirrors fit easily to the mounts on my 2023 Bonneville T120.

Alas and alack, the outer edge of the mirror is 1 and 3/4 inches further inboard than the stock mirrors; thus, less of a view rearward and more of a view of my shoulders. Have decided to stick with the stock mirrors.
