Yesterday I had a long and very wet day of riding. 410 kilometers in awful weather conditions due to the hard rain which arrived in Austria coming from Italy yesterday. It was combined with temporary stormy winds. This was really not funny but I had made up a workshop appointment to change my tyres. After the exchange and the wet ride home I refreshed my Honda. I took Continental Road Attack IV again. The first one were great for more then 13.000 km.
@Markus you do have some terrible luck with the weather when you have booked your bike in for something !! Great longevity out of the tyres too, considering that must be a fairly heavy bike. I am dropping my Street Triple off this evening for the tyres to be changed tomorrow as well, I am looking forward to the new ones!!
That sounds like quite the adventure. Riding 410 kilometers in heavy rain and stormy winds must have been challenging. It's great that you were able to make it to your workshop appointment and get your tires changed. The Continental Road Attack IV tires seem to have served you well with over 13,000 km.
I really can recommend the Conti's. I did till now another 6.000 km on my new set. They are great! Alpine routes, highspeed in Germany without any issues.
