Hi back on bikes after a rather extended absence. Bought a Street Scrambler with a few upgrades and looking forward to some good times. I was brought up within spitting distance of the new Triumph factory and was born near the original one in Coventry

Nice to see you. My first memory was of staying with relatives in Coventry. I was also studied there. Coldest place I've ever been (and that includes Norway). Perhaps not in numbers but it felt like it in the bones.
Used to drink at the Brickie's in Paradise. One of the warmest places I've been to. :D

I have to admit that WWII didn't do it any favours from an architectural point of view but it was an amazing city from an Car, Motorbike and Engineering perspective.

Sure they gathered all old buildings that were left and put them into one street. What they built afterwards was a concrete monstrosity. Thank God the Luftwaffe didn't target Warwick. I was working in Dresden a couple of years ago and they made a much better job of fixing Harris's retribution.

My Grandfather was part of all that. He remembered the WW1 zeppelins as a kid and built some of those lovely iconic cars.

My Morris Minor never broke down in all the years I had it. Great little run around. :):)
