    Hi,
I've just bought a Motone Krait seat for my 2013 Bonnie. I could not get it to fit as the 2 hooked brackets to the rear would not engage under the Motone tail tidy no matter what I did. I did finally sort of get it on but the front locater peg wasn't fully engaged under the tank, and it was so stuck I actually had to get a spanner in to undo the rear seat hooks in order to get the seat off. Motone were excellent and immediately sent me another seat, but same problem. If I compare the rear hooked mounts with the standard seat they are mounted a little bit narrower than standard, which is the problem. Anyway, today I just removed those rear seat hooks and the seat fits fine. It's located at the front under the tank and at the rear by the 2 seat bolts. It seeems locked in position and you can only really marginally lift the seat if you try where the seat hooks would have been, seems to sit on the seat rails ok. I can't see any reason why I need those seat hooks, what do you think? I could take off the tail tidy and cut out a bit more clearance but I really can't be arsed to do that.
    Cheers

    Hi Markus,
Not sure if you meant a picture of the bike or the seat mounts, so have attached both. The seat is my 68 single seat but it shows the 2 brackets I had to remove from the Motone seat.
