Connection directly to the battery is easy, but how to do the same via bike's ignition lock?
Just asking as I have never connected anything there. It would be nice if these lights could work just as electricity is turned on

Any chance of a photo of the actual wiring harness? From the schematic I see that your connections to the bike’s electrics are 1 earth and two positives, one of which has an inline fuse.

The earth is self explanatory. I suspect that the switch which is shown in the schematic as a switch image and as a large rectangular icon with four connections is actually a manually operated relay. The unfused positive connection is to power the relay when the rocker switch is thrown and the fused positive is to feed the lamps.

What you need to do is replace the switch with a fused relay. Forget messing around with the ignition switch, all you need is a positive that becomes live when the key is turned and would suggest that the easiest access to such a connection is in your headlamp enclosure.

I’m not familiar with your machine but seeing the twin headlamps I assume one is dip beam only and powers up with the ignition and stays on even when main beam is selected? This is where you will find a positive to trigger the relay and an earth to ground it. The other two terminals on the relay will be one for the positive incoming from the battery and one for the output to the lamps. You will then need to find a decent earth for the lamps. This could possibly be via the fixings for the lamp bracket to the bike for each lamp.

Don’t forget to put an appropriately rated fuse in the relay. Possibly even nicking the one from the inline component supplied with the lamps.

Hopefully this will give you a clue.

    Thank you for your reply!

Sorry, I do not have those lights yet. I should get them in March/early April. I will post then.

Oh, I never thought that option. Still sounds possible/practical.

The last resort is that I will ride the bike to local
motorcycle repair shop and guys there will install those lights :)..
