Hi All, I am a 62 year old man who learnt to ride just over 7 years ago and came on here to meet like minded folks! After owning a few different brands of Japanese bikes I now have a strong passion for Triumphs, started with owning a 765cc street triple 2 years ago. What a hoot but cost me in penalty points and nearly my life one day. so I traded it for a more sedate model, a 2020 Tiger Rally, which is the best all round bike ever IMO. I also own a 2002 Sprint ST which has just 2,700 miles on it and only 1 previous owner. I bought it last year but to be honest it has to be sold now as I need the space and don't have enough time to ride two bikes along with work and all my other hobbies and interests!
Hi Ivor, Welcome - from another newbie in Devon. You were not. by any chance riding with a friend through Sidford yesterday (5th Feb) were you? I passed a bike just like yours....
Welcome Ivor, from a fellow Devonian (now, sadly, moved away). I have a Tiger 900 GT and, like you, consider it one of the best all-round bikes available. Not necessarily the best at anything but as an all-round package it's great value. I upgraded from a Himalayan simply because I need to ride motorways a fair bit, otherwise the Himmy knocks spots off most other things for 'bang for buck'!
Hi guys, apologies for the late response, been without WiFi for a while as we quit 'Talk Talk', (nightmare) and now with Gigaclear. Thanks for the welcomes and other comments. Sad to be selling the Sprint but my driveway isn't big enough, too many vehicles at the moment. Hi Richard, no not me!
