    Hello…
I currently have a Speed twin 1200 and a Scram 411, I am thinking of part exchanging the Scram for a Tiger 850 Sport as it will be more useful to me.
I currently move my bikes around with cantilevered lifts with wheels on lifting under the sump guard.
Both bikes have frame rails so this works faultlessly however I understand that the tigers engine has no frame rails.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on whether this is possible and or not a good idea on the Tigers?
Also a shorter bar width by 50 mm ( to 780 mm rather than 830 mm) would make it perfect so I wondered if a pair of Speed twin handlebars would fit without any issues? ( I would still like the factory heated grips)
Both rather random questions but I would appreciate any constructive/ informed responses please.

    Many thanks for any help.

It's not as easy as the twins. I have a scissor jack that was great for the street twin, but can't see how it could be used on my 850. There may be a way to make some sort of bracket, but I think you may have more luck trying to lift and move using rear paddock stand bobbins with a castoring paddock stand.

Thanks for that, I do have a paddock stand with castors that I use with the Speed twin along with a scissor jack as it’s so heavy.
I have been looking up more sturdy after market sump guards this afternoon for the 850, flat bottomed and should work in conjunction with the paddock stand hopefully.
