Sunny Honfleur - very picturesque (it escaped bombing during the war) but the cobbles would be murder in the wet!

Quick spin this morn down the North Circ to the Ace for a tea and bacon sarnie on my new T120.
Avoided rain again, so still spotless (won't be for long) !

I'm looking at the grey sky outside and checking my three weather apps and wondering why I left this.

Hi Steve, Honfleur looks lovely, reminds me very much of La Rochelle that Wendy and I visited last November.

Put this aluminium chain sprocket cover on.
I wanted to expose the sprocket but also the Norman Hyde rear set.
But.....now it's on I'm not sure if I like it that much

Hi Dave - yes it's a wonderful place with lots of narrow streets and little squares full of old half timbered buildings. Never seen so many restaurants!

Spent yesterday travelling south Shetland. This photo was after riding legally across the 'main' airport runway. The roads here are amazing. Views stunning. Exceptional biking weather too. Warm and dry. Not too warm that you are mafting though.

Re-fitted the front brake reservoir after spraying the bracket black to match the rest of the bike. Why on earth it's bare aluminium I will never know. :(

    Here it is...

Spent the weekend helping my daughters bloke refitting the engine to his recently refurbed 1960's T100. It'll look real good when he gets the tank repainted.:D
However, I have fallen in deep lust with the 1960's Norton Dominators he has stashed away for a rainy day in his mums garage, both with less than 200 miles from new. A beaut café racer and, an even more gorgeous road ready 600 plunger. Now starts the really hard part, working on Mrs Al to get me a wedding anniversary present in the shape of a Norton Dominator 600 with less than 200 miles on the clock. :D:D:D:D:D

image.png image.png image.png image.png Carried out 1st annual service to my Speedy. Before buying fresh oil (Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w40 £31 from Halfords with trade card) thought I would check what was put in at 500 mile service. Receipt shows Shell Helix 15w 50, not even Triumph recommended grade!! Filling in the service sheet after finishing noticed spark plugs check at 6000 miles, not annually. Could have saved an hour of pissing about, but done now, so more piece of mind :)
