    I wondered, if you were only a few hours late would using a VPN overcome the problem? Because the score history is stored on your device unless you have given NYT you personal data and opened an account with them. The VPN will allow you to “locate” yourself anywhere on the planet nearer to the IDL.

    @Baza , thanks for the suggestion but you've really lost me now. I don't know what a VPN is or an IDL!!!
    The best solution is for me to remember it or at least come on Triumph Forum daily so this thread will remind me!

    A 3 for me :p

    Ive started not using the right letters on the first guess within the second line.
    This provides the opportunity to narrow down the available letters remaining for guess 3 rather that trying to make the correct ones fit and burn more guesses in the process.

    Seems to work better for me ;)

    My first two lines are always the same, unless, like today, when I think there might be a good chance of a two. My second line doesn’t use any of the letters in the first line but between the two lines I will have confirmed or eliminated all vowels. In fact, thinking about it, I might modify the second line to include pseudo vowels as well.
