Got my '21 Tiger 900GT yesterday and VERY pleased with it. Enjoying reading the manual and finding out about the settings etc. However, in the pack I received from Triumph when I bought it were these two little things - both the same, look like some sort of loop-back connectors. Anyone know what they are for?
Not that I was made aware of. Do these disable the alarm for going on a ferry for example (I go to France quite a lot by ferry)?
The alarm is an extra accessory, so if you did not purchase one and have it installed then it won't have one fitted, the alarm can either be wired into the harness or plug straight into the available connector, although given you have 2 bypass connectors that throws me a little, ring your dealer and make sure, it's only a phone call and may well help.
Have you got the accessory fog lights fitted? It seems that two blanking plugs need disconnecting to wire them up. The blanking plugs need to be retained and replaced if the lights are ever removed.
I think what you say sounds to be correct, the connectors will give a feed to the front additional driving lights (off side and near side)
On the subject of auxiliary lights do you guys have any recommendations? I have been considering these for a while, purely to increase visibility to other road users.
It's a stock 900GT but with the addition of the quickshifter - the only extra accessory as I understand (amd what a joy the shifter is!). I'll give the dealer a call and see what they say.
