Have just made an appointment to have my old boy Labrador put down this afternoon.

He was attacked by a cow 3 weeks ago and initially looked like he was recovering really well but this morning he won't eat, doesn't want to walk etc so because I don't want him to suffer and he has been the very best companion for the last 13 years, today will be his last day.
