One word for today - brilliant! We set off early-ish so as to beat the heat. Our route took us up a pass through the Pyrenees, into France. Fantastic roads, stunning scenery. Onwards and upwards... Nice little coffee stop. Coming back into Spain. Back at the hotel! Today's route, 170 miles all told.
Yes what a cracking day. Comfortable up in the mountains, but 30c plus once we dropped out. To hot to be comfortable.
Day 7. We left Jaca heading for Vielha in the poring rain. Didn’t stop for pictures cause it was to wet. lol Arrived around noon and was surprised that we could check in to the hotel. Out now for lunch and a beer.
If it's just about the pictures, looks like you spend more time eating and drinking than riding (and that's perfectly acceptable)
Yes pizza it was for me. A lot more water in the river and reservoirs here in the mountains than lower down in the foothills, which were very low on water. Spain needs rain and a lot of it, just not in the next few days. Well not until I’m on my ferry home and @Vulpes is back in Holland.
