Featured What you been doing with your TRIUMPH today??

Today I adjusted the rear shock, I took out the low speed compression by 1 click and high speed compression by 2 clicks to try and soften the rear end slightly on the bumps along the A40, made it a bit softer but I think I can get it better. There is still a bit too much immediate shock getting through to the frame.
Also topped up the Scottoiler reservoir and reduced the blue tacho lights to come on 1000 rpm sooner.

Spanked it up the dual carriageway today, two cops on the other side at the service station both looked as we howled past, was worrying but funny. Pulled into dealership for a chat and drink and a lady came over smiling saying it sounded great! People having a good old gander they are certainly taking notice now!

 

Stayed in Brittany over the weekend and now in Normandy - bloody raining now!


Where I stayed is run for bikers - Roger even has a small museum and several Ural, Dnieper and Jupiter side car combos.

I know - 35 minutes to Portsmouth is a real bonus. Bit further for you bots north of the border!

went for a jaunt on the tiger today, from home to Orpington kent to drop off my ear moulds then down to Wessons Cafe Horam and had a damn fine burger, great cafe if you ever get to that area, got some jackets etc for sale at very reasonable prices, From there went to Goring by Sea to pick up some mail, don't ask!and then home, Great to get out again but my knee hurts? first time thats happened! Kept pretty dry too so that was a bonus , 180 miles.

For the first time in 18 months I had to take the train today, took over 2 hours due to major signal failures...on my bike it takes 45 to 60 min door to door

Yep, that nutter was texting while going through Hanger Lane tunnel

 

Ordered the oil and filter for my bike, just need spark plugs and air filter.
I'll get the sparks from Halford's and order the air filter from my local dealer. Might even be lucky and they have one in ( doubt it thou)
Also ordered my grand meet up T shirt from Dougie.

Having looked at the HD footage
from the camera, it is just a normal open face one, but he has a black scarf accross his face, also the lighting is bad in that tunnel, but the chap is black so the camera has not picked that up clearly.

 

Train took 2 hrs to get half way before announcement the line ahead was blocked by a fallen tree and major signal failure plus a touch of flooding, so shelled out for s taxi to take me the rest of the way. I HATE TRAINS
