Wow, @Rooster! From my American viewpoint those photos almost look like fairytale settings, not real places. Beautiful!!
Took a run up loch Tay and thought I'd take a couple of pics of this unusual house that sits at the side of the road near the bottom of Loch Tay, it's really easy to miss as heading up the side of the Loch from Kenmore trees hide it and your just coming onto a corner, and heading down it's right round the corner. i popped into see my brother who works in Aberfeldy and he says it's called the Ugly House, i don't know if that's true, but i think it looks pretty cool.. if you zoom in you can see a dome summerhouse Below is a google image travelling north up loch Tay
When you went to Killin did you about turn and go back up to the A85? heading down Loch Tay from Killin the Ugly House is just a mile or so before you get to kenmore, The Loch Tay-Loch Earn loop is a favourite of mine
Yep, coming up from Calllander turned right to Killin, had a look round, about turn and on to Crianlarich. I've not actually been along Loch Tay yet - hopefully some day!
went a 10 mile hike with a pal today in scorching heat, parked up at Crathie car park near Balmoral castle and took a tough hike up to the Prince Albert Monument which is a big pyramid erected in 1862 view from the Monument we ended up on a forestry commission road with some lovely views came across this little rabbit, it stayed still until i took his photo Bothy in the middle of nowhere, not a bad place to put your head down for free
13 mile hike with a pal today, between Blairgowrie and Dunkeld, passed numerous lochs and bonnie views
