Ellie has really taken to lying on her back more and more lately, more than any dog I've ever had. Here she is a couple of days ago with one of her favorite toys, Rabbit.
I said I would never get another dog after the last one, but who could resist this little Patterdale terrier, meet Buddy II.
@David Cooper Oh my goodness, David, Buddy is SOOOOO cute!!! I agree...who could resist? How old is he??
This is not my cat, but it was quite funny. We walked through the oldtown of Istres in France and saw this cat ignoring the grid and peeing in the plant box.
Have fun.....and good luck, David! Puppies are super cute for a reason. Please share more photos with us if you would. Buddy looks to be a real sweetie!
This is Stan, my Sister's 6 month old Border Terrier, whom we're dog sitting while they're away. We haven't found his "off" switch yet so it's a full-on job! He goes home on Sunday.
Stan is a cutie, @Pegscraper! So you're his "uncle". Nice! You can play with him and hang out together and then get a break when he goes home to Mom.
More Meka! The pool is her favorite thing (besides food). As soon as she sees us come out in our swimwear she goes ballistic with excitement. She swims well without the doggie vest, but we like to err on the side of caution. She will swim around until she climbs out and collapses. Flying dogfish!
Here's Ellie with her Cool Coat cape peering off the bridge across the Rillito River, a "river" which is completely and utterly dry right now, BTW. The cape is really neat. It has a soft chamois underside and a reflective and pretty outside. You soak it briefly and then wring it out sort of like a cooling vest you'd wear on a motorcycle. We rinse and wring it out after each walk then fold it up and store it in the refrigerator in a plastic bag until the next morning's walk. She loves it and it definitely keeps her cooler on our morning walks.
We're supporting the farmers movement that's going on right here at present! Our four legged guest does too!
As should we all if we value democracy. ..and if you don't know the link between the two your education system has failed you.
