Today's route. Approximately 130 miles, some of them quite challenging. I'm very proud of Jefta, who throughout the week has got more fluent and brave in riding. She's on a steep learning curve, and doing really well! Today's Col:
What a wonderful day, @Vulpes! For you and Jefta...and for your pooch! I'm so glad that Jefta is doing so well. You must be very proud of her and happy for her. And she should be proud of herself! Hearing of her progress reminds me of my v-e-r-y steep learning curve when I first began riding. Please tell her (again) "WAY TO GO"! I'd love to meet her and give her a big hug and tell her that myself. Looks like you are having a fantastic trip!
We had our last ride of the trip on Sunday morning, again no views . A bit chilly, but dry roads. Us shivering at the summit of the Ballon d’Alsace. Some images from the cams. Bikes loaded up for the return journey. Now safe back home.
It was brilliant mate! And you're right - Jefta has taken massive strides in her riding. She's learnt a lot, and is indeed, like you said, buzzing! I reckon @Mrs Visor would have enjoyed it here!
Welcome back home, @Vulpes! So glad you and Jefta had a great trip. I’m sure her confidence has ratcheted up multiple notches. Even though we’ve not met (yet?!), please tell her I’m proud of her as a “fellow“ woman rider!
She had a blast - learnt a lot, and as you can imagine pretty mentally tired at first. It was great fun being out together though, as you'll know!
Yes, she certainly had quite the intensive learning experience, but she clearly handled it brilliantly!! The mental tiredness I can definitely relate to - and the fun, definitely the fun .
