    What a trip @Markus and wonderful photos; I have never been to Venice and would definitely like to one day. It's a shame the weather was cruel to you at times, we're having really cool temperatures for the time of year in the UK too - it only reached 12c today. Very strange.

    Until now, I thought the term "global warming" had other implications for weather. As far as I know, the St. Lawrence stream is still active, which means that we here in Europe are still protected from really cold weather for a while, right?

    @Sandi T: I´m looking forward to it! Fortunately, I only have to spend a week in the office until then. Our TIGERs were quite jealous of the Bonnies and their experiences in Italy. :)
