Is this something new? We have not been in Albufiera since before the pandemic. It is a beautiful place for a holiday, brilliant beach and handy for the race track and we have always found the people to be really helpful and friendly.

    Jealousy or opportunistic exploitation.

@Wessa I have just checked original photo detail and this was October 2019.
I can ask my mate for more details if anyone wants further information?

Not today, but on Tuesday I took my thruxton to an ex norton racer (Ian Mackman) to have the suspension setup. Did a great job, recording all settings before starting and then once completed, giving me a copy with my invoice. I've only rode the bike from his garage to home and ite bike is much softer on the road. I'm hopeful to get out and give it a good workout in the next few days.

Lots of people go too hard on the suspension settings "to get it to handle" and quite often softer is better, especially in the wet.
Out of interest, and I don't possess a Thruxton, but are you willing to share your before and after settings?

Drooling in anticipation, after being sent this picture from my dealership of my new Tiger 900 Rally Pro arriving yesterday.

I get to go pick it up Saturday afternoon :) I'll be taking the long way home.

:joy::joy::joy: You might need to add the Thruxton RS to that list, @Helmut Visor. I find that's the motorcycle that always comes up for me when someone asks which bike I've owned that I wish I could have back. But then, I've never test ridden a speedster or a Rocket 3.

For now I am absolutely happy with my Speed Triple RS and the two Harleys I have. I know that can change, but for once I'm not finding myself yearning--or even very curious--about other bikes. What's wrong with me??!! ;):joy:

Funny, you @Sandi T and I are thinking the same. I was at the Triumph dealers last weekend and they were telling me how the gen2 765rs was so much better than the gen1 I have : unamused:....
He then went on to say I needed a test ride on a 1200rs demo that they have..... oh really???
Yes nice bike but I don't feel inspired for a change and I'm quite happy with my "old" late 2018 765rs :p

I had to park next to this specific Ducati as one of my mates is hankering after buying one if he can talk the wife around :kissing_heart:

For me the regretable sale has to be my Kawasaki KR1S from 1991, worth an absolute fortune now and would still show some modern bikes the way home .

Decided to attack the front end, discovered moths that had not even learned to fly yet, stripped it down gave it a mega clean, need 2 indicator stalks, rear caliper eventually got the pistons out for refurbing,

Commute to work for me via another work site I often have to visit. Cold and foggy with wet roads and feelings tinged with regret this morning as I wiped my visor yet again and shivered early doors followed by warm, sunny weather with dry roads and the feeling of joy for my second two trips of the day .

Glad you got some reprieve from the cold and foggy weather today, @Mrs Visor. :):sun: Don’t you just love the moments of joy that we get to feel when we’re out riding our motorcycles?! Those are those moments when time could just stand still. :)

Not today but last night, picking it up from the floor:confused:
Out for an evening run to Coniston for a brew, I parked my bike, jumped off to make sure the pub was open and while my back was turned my mate toppled over on his Speedy colliding with mine.
Broken clutch lever, tiny scuff on front indicator and this IMG_20220519_195601801_compress96.jpg IMG_20220519_195619345_compress37.jpg

My mate was gutted, looked like someone had died bless him.
Came home in back of a van and hit the beers:sob:

That's horrible to see and I hope that the beers were good.
I have these on mine and I dropped it on the slippery floor at a garage forecourt. You can see the scratches on the protection thingy.
Definitely worthwhile imho and not too much money.

Cheers for that. It was only this week I was thinking about those R&G things. Will definitely invest in some form of protection:grinning:
