Not clued up on chains n sprockets so thought id ask you guys.
Love my bike, but whatever i have i always want more.
Would like quicker acceleration, not bothered about top end speed.
    Bike is a 2015 94r

    Questions:

can i change just the rear sprocket, if so which will give me the max acceleration
if i have to change front, chain and rear .. again what do i go for.

    all input appreciated

Is this the cheaper option from the supercharger idea Tony???;):D

Normally drop one from the front as Gary says. May increase the inaccuracy of the speedo tho, although I'm not sure.

Renthal are considered very good at what they do. Changing both at the same time might not be the best option. One thing at a time and then test ride is better to get you where you want to be.

    Depends on where the
Depends where the speed is measured. If from the front wheel it's not affected, but if it's a sensor off the sprocket it will be.
You can get speed healers to correct the inaccuracy. I believe not the easiest thing to set up. Never used one myself. An example of one http://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/sh/
Also remember if you do increase the acceleration that the top speed will be decreased.

On the 2015 can you access the ECU with TuneECU?
On my 10' Speedie, I was able to adjust the speedo registered after going down one on the front and up two on the rear sprockets. I calibrated it with the sat nav speed readout.

Cheers for the info fellas.I'll look into the speed issue more first.
Bob...correct. not instead of, but whilst the pocket gets filled up again. Car was an absolute nightmare to change pads, took all weekend.
Hope you're paying your missus some attention whilst on holiday instead of being on the forum. Ha.

Red thunder.... with one down and two up. How much did you notice a difference? Probably hard to explain, but was it worth it? And how much did you loose in the top end. Thanks

Up 2 teeth on the rear would be the easiest and you probably won't need to change the chain.
As others have said you'll need to re calibrate the speedo.

I think you'll be OK with the speedo, the later bikes after vin 400001 use the wheel speed censor instead .

Another thought.....I have a gear indicator on mine which has a sensor on back wheel and connection to the crank sensor. Without sounding like a numpty...would the indicator still work correct????

Put the sprocket on last night, just been out for an hour on back roads. definitely more acceleration, feels quite a bit quicker.
    Gear indicator still works fine
Also think the mph is correct too.
Now do i order a front one too?....ok then.
will put another post when tried that one as well.

ordered the renthal17t. from intobikes, same place i bought the rear from.
Bit slow on the delivery, but hopefully here next week.
If it turns out to be too much ill put original back on, worth a punt for the money.

    Eh up T.

I think I have a 17t sprocket somewhere so I think I'll give it a go. Don't want you leaving me for dead.... At least not until the supercharger anyway...;)

Part of my commute is in central London and trying to feather the clutch until I reached 15-20 mph was hard work.
After the new chain n sprockets were on, riding at lower speed was a lot more controlled.
The fact that I actually have to consiously keep the front wheel down and can now out accelerate any car on the road is just a coincidence. (I always have my foot hovering over the rear brake should the front come up...too high)
Regarding top end, the book says 135mph tops on standard sprockets, I reckon the revs will redline at about 110mph now, but I honestly don't go there as I am yet to do a track day.
The accleration now is awesome though.
