I just purchased a soon to be delivered and new to me, 2019 Triumph Tiger 1200 XRt. This is my first Triumph but my third adventure style bike. I started with a 2012 Yamaha Tenere, then graduated to a 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure. I'm getting too old to take big bikes out into the dirt so I decided to move on to the refined and sophisticated Triumph. I've been riding for over 40 years now and I'm really looking forward to this new bike. I currently reside in Las Vegas, NV USA.
Greetings, @JONeil, and welcome to the forum. And to the wonderful world of Triumph. Thanks for your great intro. Sounds like you are making a good decision with your bike change. My husband and I live in Tucson and ride to Las Vegas at least once a year it seems. We love the Red Rock Canyon Loop. And Las Vegas Bike Fest which we are hoping resumes again this fall. As others have said, please post a photo or two of your Tiger when you get it!
@Octoberon Saul, when will you be in Vegas? Steve and I just made reservations there for a little getaway (on the bikes) at the end of May--beginning of June. It would be fun to meet up for lunch or a beer if it works out!
Looks like we’ll miss you by two weeks. Hope you have a great time! The weather should be a little nicer for you mid-May than for us even though it’s only a couple weeks different. We could hit some hot temperatures but work schedule doesn’t a llow an earlier trip.
