This is the most common suggestion, and an option I’m aware of myself. However, if someone were wishing to offload their genuine version for a reduced cost, I’d consider it.
I bought a Clarke one for a fraction of the price, didn't paint it black nor stick a fancy badge on it because at the end of the day it's what's inside that counts.
