Hi Guys & Gals (if any still on here)
For ages now Ive been thinking about jet washing my tiger 800. Just wondering what experiences youve guys have had good or bad washing motorcycles with a jet wash???
I`m concerned it`ll get in the electrics, bearings etc, however careful I am, but Tigers are not easy to keep clean especially when you are up & down muddy "A" roads daily.
    So......What say you lot:):):):):)

Thanks again littleade.......You sure know how to clean a bike properly, i`ll give you that.
I have a karcher, i have washed my bike with it this morning, I was mindful not to go nuts with it & kept my distance.
I`ll be using it again as the results were good. It`s the front of the engine that I really wanted it for & the job is a gooden.
I too use sdoc 100 & yes your right, good, but mega expensive. I dont like Muc-off either...it leaked once over my dexion shelving & stripped the paint off & then the whole area rusted!!!!!
ive never tried this snowfoam, I`ll give it a go.
Thanks once again for your advice....your a star

You can clean my bike at the Grand Meet up if you like. Sounds like you do a good job.

It's a big no from me on the jet washing, nothing wrong with a hose, sponge and good old elbow grease

I've never succumbed to a jet wash til recently....I washed my tiger by hand as usual but gashed the middle finger of my left hand badly on the underside of the exhaust.
I tried a jet wash this week as the front of my tiger was filthy & I didn't want to risk my hand again.
I was conscious about damaging things so started from a distance, but soon realised that across the road wasn't close enough!.
Done a good job of the front of the engine & saved my digits too. So yeah, job done.
