I started watchting "The Vanishing" yesterday, it having been mentioned on here a few months ago. A bit too long winded for me. It was interesting to me as I've actually been to the island. we landed there to investigate after we'd sailed to St. Kilda. The Flannans (also known as "The Seven Hunters") are a pretty remote group of islands.
Just watched Predestination and Coherence. Two amazing films in my opinion. Definitely recommend if you’re into time travel/parallel universe type of movies.
Well worth binging on. In fact it's Justified. All 6 seasons below. Scroll down for all episodes, enjoy. https://zoechip.org/episode/justified-season-1-episode-1/
The TV manufacturers are even worse, dropping support for older models so you lose apps on their smart televisions. Very poor practice.
Justified is right at the top of the list of Mr. Sandi's and my all-time favorite TV series! As @Iron said, "well worth binging on". Yes, it IS justified!
We watched The King's Man, the prequel to the two previously released Kingsman movies starring Colin Firth. Although we'd already seen the two older movies, we enjoyed The King's Man so much that we rewatched the two Kingsman movies over the next few evenings. All are highly recommended if you like action spy movies with humor thrown in in generous amounts.
Aaaaaaand another campy Sinbad flick. "….And The Eye Of The Tiger" this time. The Mrs is into dopey sci-fi/fantasy/horror films like these. Jane Seymour is certainly a smokershow of a goddess, but I must say if I had to make the choice, I'd go for Catherine Munro. I just like 'em a bit fleshy, and on the exotic side. Both babes were Bond girls too. "Golden Voyage" was an altogether better movie, as well. Faster paced, much more combat and sword play. Brief nude scene with Seymour though! She's hella sexy.
Mr. Sandi and I just finished watching the 3rd season of "Goliath" last night. I enjoyed the heck out of it! I found the first episode fairly weird but hung in there and felt rewarded for it. One of those series that had me saying, "I know it's midnight but let's just watch one more episode". Tonight, at the recommendation of a good friend, we started watching the four-season series "Drive to Survive", a Netflix documentary about Formula 1. We watched three episodes this evening and I'm hooked. I know precious little about F1 but I'm certainly getting v-e-r-y interested.
Watched Nightmare Alley this weekend. The misses is a huge Guillermo Del Torro fan. I liked it. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7740496/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1
Goliath is brilliant, I'm just about to watch the 4rth season. Drive to survive is ok I suppose, except for the made up driver feuds and such. It's all very much hyped up. Our man Max Verstappen refuses to participate because of that.
I'll be curious to know what you think of Goliath Season 4, Vulpes. Mr. Sandi and I really liked it and found it a real "page turner". Consequently it took us only a few evenings to watch it all....leaving us hoping for a Season 5! We just finished Season 1 of Drive to Survive. We'll see what the next season is like. I've never followed Forumula 1 before so it is kind of cool now to be able to read results in the paper and know who they're talking about at least!
