    This went down like a lead balloon on the RD LC forum but what do you all think of this Yamaha XSR700 based replica of the 1980s RD350 YPVS (31K)?

    It’s the bike in the background of the photo and I love the idea

    That's the XSR900 LC replica which has been around for a few years. Nice but very expensive!

    Always liked that colour scheme! I'm not sure if I would buy one though, it's a bit like the gulf colours, done to death really.

    I now have a donor XSR700 which has Marmite looks in my opinion BUT in black I like the raw retro look more than expected. :cool:

    I like the 900 but the 700 is like putting lipstick on a pig, although the red white an d blue version does look a bit better...

    I like that black XSR700, Geoff. I also like the color scheme of the parts you said need lacquering. Be interesting to see those installed to get the big picture.
