765 Lower Gasoline Consumption

    lower gasoline consumption

    hello, I replaced the rear sprocket on my street 765 rs, putting a -2 teeth, but I would like to decrease consumption a little more, could you give me some advice? thank you

    Don't twist as hard !
    Going too many teeth up or down gets the gearing way out of wack !
    Too short :- you are running too many RPMS.
    Too tall :- you are labouring it all the time in the top most gears.

    Yes. All my Bonnie's i just go up one tooth on the front seems to work for me. Plus the revs are lower and engine doesn't have to scream all the time not that a Bonny screams but it is more relaxed.

    On stock gearing you can get about 45 mpg. What are you getting with -2? curious for real.
