Yep, I often forget to cancel the indicators. Seems like a good, helpful solution!

Some people wire in a buzzer. I suppose you could wire in your testicles.:D

Although not perfect, I installed the Smart Turn System - self cancelling module early on. I think it has rebadged ST2 - turn system

@Helmut Visor and I rode to see a friend and his KTM 1290 Superadventure S today, had a coffee and a chat and rode back home again - about a 95 mile round trip. He liked my trousers, asked what they were and had spent about £800 on kit by the time we made it home . Third ride for me on my Striple since passing my test as obviously the last two stormy weekends scuppered any biking adventures. No pictures I am afraid (which I know means it never happened ;)).

The trouble is, in cold weather they shrink and retreat into my abdomen:sob:.

From memory, the only bike I've ever owned with SC indicators was a Z1300 back in '82. Can't see why all bikes don't have them with perhaps a disable option if you don't want or like them. Not exactly cutting edge tech is it.

Hmmm, wouldn't work for me, Andy. Guess I'll have to go with another method.

Well, Harleys all have them. At least every Harley I've had since 2010 has had them. ;):) That's actually what makes it so hard for me to remember to cancel the turn signals when I ride my Speed Triple.

    Indicators…..what are these things ?
    ( I also drive a BMW..) :p:p

What does make me chuckle is when out on the Triumph you come across a group of riders on a bendy B road and sit behind them for a while . Often they feel pressured to over take cars and make some appalling overtakes in bad places, crossing double white lines, overtaking on junctions , blind bends etc etc. But what they all do is indicate right as they make the dodgy overtake and then indicate left as they pull back in …WTF ,,,,,,!

And me on the tractor, but they stay on WAY too long, even a lane change on the slab could be confusing for others.
When I went to Belgium a few years ago my three riding companions regularly failed to cancel their indicators and I was forever flashing mine left then right to try to tell them.: unamused: At one point it looked like I was escorting an abnormal load there were so many amber lights behind me :D

+2 deg C on the greenhouse thermometer here. Just given the Scrambler another wash and dry. Setting the bike dryer to low heat and blowing it up your left trouser leg is absolute heaven:heart:.
