I got back from my day out to find brake fluid leaking out of the front brake reservoir. Had it serviced a few weeks ago but didn't notice any leak, so only after 3rd ride out. it was getting blown onto the tank, washed it off immediately, the screws were in tight enough, so can't work out why it should start seeping. Any one had this?

New pads? If so then there could be over filled resorvoir as some one might have filled it whilst pads were wearing down.

Not new pads but new fluid at service, I have taken some out but it still looked as though there was some seepage

Check out the delboys garage video on brake fluid. Seem to remember that he said over filling causes seepage through the breather in the cap.

I once had this with mine as well, just get a syringe and take some fluid out of the master cylinder and you'll be fine.

Ok it's resolved. 1 or 3 things, maybe over filled but don't think so as it was coming out of the back of the res not the side. Gasket might not have been seated properly, when I took the top off it looked wrong, could have been when I removed the lid tho but it's favourite. Why it leaked 2 nd time? As delboys video shows don't put the lid and seal down upside down, did this to stop the surfaces getting dirty, as the fluid seeps through the breather hole onto the top of the gasket/seal thingy thus putting fluid on the wrong side of the seal when you re assemble. Took it apart, removes a bit more fluid gave everything a dry and good clean. Jobs a good'un. thanks all

Don't think so, washed it all down so hopefully it'll be fine
