Forum Weirdness

    @Havit I've just noticed something odd with the count of member's messages. Mooching about earlier this week, I had a look at the list of top posters. The bottom of the list caught my eye as the number was quite memorable (4,123); Rich Bryce being the man of the moment. Today that number has gone down to 4,104. Rich hasn't been seen in this parish for over a year so I'm assuming he hasn't snuck in and deleted a few posts. Also, he's no longer at the bottom of the list. That honour is now held by TEZ 217. Did someone else leave and have all their posts removed, a la DozersDad? What's going on with the 'lost' messages from Rich, and perhaps others (I can't tell you if any other numbers have changed)?

    Seems unlikely, to be honest. Unless you're using search terms to identify and delete threads that could inadvertently sweep up something legit. Don't know how that works. Doesn't explain the 'missing person', either.
