Greetings, Jack, and welcome to the forum! That's a great bike you have in that Thruxton R and the name "Ruby" is perfect. I had a 2016 Thruxton R and loved it. How did you like riding in the Texas Hill Country? I had the opportunity to ride there a few years ago--beautiful! Also got to make a stop for some delicious Texas BBQ. Great introduction, great photos, looking forward to you being a great addition to our online community!
Always have loved motorcycles especially British twins. Saw my 1st BSA in 1966. Lasting impression or as my dad used to say”Have you fallen off that GD thing yet!”
Happy Jack Yes my Dad said similar it was have you come of again. My Mum begged me to get a car and forget bikes. Bless her. But like you i love bikes and can't stop buying them but slowing down now. Joe.
Same here but some people just don’t get it It’s ok doesn’t mean they love you any less maybe more Fortunately they finally came around
Happy Jack Yes i i was indeed a Mummies Boy and not ashamed to say so. But you are stot on about explaining to non bikers they just don't get it. They look at you with that sympathy looking face thinking you are of the trolley. And feel the things we biker do. Joe.
