Due to changes in life as we get older this bike is now for sale im going for classic cars now as my wife can no longer go on a bike.
No576 out the factory (1st 500 I believe went abroad) Standard apart from a 1200 loom & airbox (originals supplied). Chain & Sprockets are midway. ALL lights work on dash. Has a Volvo fan switch which cuts in way before she gets too hot! Tyres are legal fact one was new when i bought it but thats now maybe 6 yrs old? I`d change tyres for use although they will fly through an MOT. Not got round to that yet but she`s ready for MOT.
Pictures make her look better than she is(as always) but she`s tidy for a 31year old survivor!
She owes me 1800 but i want £1,500 for it no offers. If it does`nt sell i will mothball it but i`d like it to go to an enthusiast who will use it regularly. Thanks for looking & pm me for anymore info you need. Cheers Mick

I do indeed have a 750 version, Stiffler. Have to say that I did harbour thoughts of it having a Big Brother/BFF/companion .... what have you.

However, head has ruled heart .... I'm a 'triples' person (just counted - I have 9) so I'm taking a pass on the 'Thou' I'm afraid. :(

The Suffolk Motorcycles Daytona 900, on the other hand .......... ;)

Well someone is going to get a real nice classic triple and it looks stunning. So are you dropping out of Triumphs or just a break. Either way do stay here in the family and keep us inmates company.
    Joe.

Cheers Joe! I think i will stay on here as this mad house & its inmates make me chuckle:). Maybe a break from riding one but think the sound of a project appeals to keep me sane:). The real wrench will be selling the CBX!:sob:

The Scimitar with the Rover V8 engine is the one to go for, it was a great car, a chap round the corner from me still has his and uses it regularly, they have a bit of a cult following now, and prices are rising.

I had one of those Rover V8's in my car, but it was...a TR8...a Triumph! :D
