Re secret admirer… He needs to work on his framing… unlike your chop which looked pretty cool! Did you see the guy I posted about in the YouTube thread?
good choice of bike the early quad pipe models prices are getting a bit mad for tidy examoles with low miles,i still like the 2nd phase such as this one not that dear and decent value.
Well, fate conspired to prevent me going to work today, so l checked out a couple of dealers. Saw a nice red Z1000SX at one, good extras, but no luggage. But l'm posting for opinions on the p/x valuation. 2010 Bonneville SE, VGC, 13,000 miles. One offered £2,750, other one £3,000. I'm a buyer, not a seller, so how does that price sound to the collective?
Rip off, you should get £4k+ in a private sale. Two suggestions, 1100 DS Multistrada, fuck ugly but bloody brilliant bike, also TDM 850/900 Equally fuck ugly and also brilliant. Well within your budget and both lighter and cheaper than GS..
Have you tried webuyanymotorbike.com or similar,I had zero takers for my 2011 speedy last year and they gave me £4000 for it no fuss cash in bank easy, surprised me
Sold my Sprint to them last summer, similarly I got a better than expected price which no on else seemed willing to give. Their current valuation of my Bonneville.........£2,349.00
Must have just been good timing when I sold mine, first offer was £3800 so I refused then got s phone call asking what I would take, told them £4000 guy gave it good check then told me check your bank cash was in 10 mins later
Yes, same here. It's the time of year I suppose. They're more or less buying bikes for stock, so prices will be low. I've pretty much decided to stick with the Bonnie, it'll get me around and in truth will be perfectly adequate for the type and amount of riding I'm likely to do. So now I have to buy another aftermarket seat to replace the one I sold in a moment of imagined financial meltdown.....
Maybe cheaper to get it resculpted gel insert or similar I had a Tony archer seat on my Zrx kawa great thing
